Junior Ruby on Rails Developer

Debtfolio is looking for a Ruby on Rails developer (or someone who is willing to learn Ruby) for work on a financial web application. You will be joining a small team of individuals and will be reporting to our lead developer. This is a full-time salary position.

• 1 to 3 years as a web application developer (ruby, php, java, etc...).
• A good understanding of MySQL
• A live web application that you can point us to that you built or built part of
• Experience with RoR a plus (or a willingness to learn)
• An understanding of the scriptaculous/prototype (Ajax) libraries
• Interested in working with the latest and greatest web technologies

Front-end Developer (photoshop / XHTML / CSS)

Debtfolio is looking for an individual with great design chops, XHTML and CSS experience for work on a financial web application. You will be joining a small team of individuals and will be reporting to our lead developer. This is a full-time salary position.

Social Networking/Marketing Manager

In order to grow our user base in the younger 18-24 year old markets, we're looking for someone with big ideas and the talent to help us get the word out.

This marketing role focuses on DebtFolio's social networking initiatives to grow positive word-of-mouth among college students and the 18-24 year old market. This role encompasses the following areas:

• Recruit and managing a network of college students (Affiliates) who will promote DebtFolio through peer-to-peer marketing efforts and social networking websites
• Create marketing campaigns and manage promotions for affiliates to increase user adoption and brand awareness
• Building relationships and serve as a central point of contact to college career and financial aid services

• Strong familiarity with online social networking (MySpace, Facebook), Blogs, and the use of web 2.0 tools in marketing.
• Excellent writing and interpersonal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to provide creative and strategic direction for word-of-mouth campaigns (2+ years proven track record of creating and implementing viral, buzz, and grassroots ambassador marketing programs)
• Able to be a voice for innovation and growth within the company
• Superb project management skills. Must be able to manage multiple programs and concurrent deadlines with excellent attention to details
• Can drive site marketing, branding, positioning, partner marketing, and participation in external events
